SCHOOLBOYS performed a 'punchy' adaptation of Treasure Island to a packed audience last week.
Papplewick School in Ascot performed a musical interpretation of Robert Louis Stevenson's classic tale from the mid 18th century.

The large cast of year 7 and 8 pupils sung and acted out as pirates, aristocratic gentlemen taking on the roles of Long John Silver, Jim Hawkins, Squire Trelawny, Billy Bones and more.
Tom Bunbury, headteacher at Papplewick, said: "A tremendous interpretation of Treasure Island - our senior boys excelled themselves and it was a pleasure to welcome local schools for the matinee performance."

The Ascot pupils presented a play set in the days of sailing ships and pirates and told the tale of Jim Hawkins and his search for the buried treasure of an evil pirate, Captain Flint.
Papplewick is a full boarding preparatory school for more than 200 boys between the ages of six and 13.
