The first floor of Peacocks, which was based on High Street until recently, could be turned into four new flats after planning documents were sent to Bracknell Forest development chiefs.

Three of the homes would be one-bedroom spaces, with the other flat being a two-bedroom apartment.
The British Heart Foundation is also set to move in on the ground floor of the site, according to designs submitted.
Peacocks staff used the first-floor space for storage and more than 200 metres square would be kept for this use.
No car parking spaces would be made available for residents living at the flats.

Developers wrote in a planning statement: “The proposal would provide for four residential flats in a highly accessible location, close to shops, employment opportunities, local facilities and public transport modes and is therefore highly sustainable.”
BFC planning bosses are currently considering the plans.
