THE date of the annual community litter pick has been announced.
It is set to take place across March 27 and 28, and it's hoping to cover more land and get even more residents involved.
The scheme, based in the Wokingham borough and running in conjunction with Keep Britain Tidy’s Great British Spring Clean, calls on the community to pull together.

It consists of locals forming groups and go out to clean the streets, with all necessary cleaning equipment, including litter pickers and rubbish bags, provided by the council.
According to Wokingham Borough Council, the 2019 litter pick saw 25 groups across the Wokingham Borough and was a huge success.
The group managed to collect more than 30 tonnes of litter, and the council proudly announced that this year is to be it's 12 anniversary since the anti-litter scheme began.
The only advice those running the event say is that no experience is necessary, however it is suggested you wear gloves and sturdy shoes.
