ALMOST 90 burglaries have been reported in Bracknell in just three months.
Latest figures show 86 burglaries were reported to the police in Bracknell from September 2019 to November 2019.
This covers Bracknell Central South, Bracknell North Parish’s and Bracknell Town Centre.

Bracknell Central South had the highest rate of burglaries making up 45 of the total report count across Bracknell.
Bracknell Town centre had the lowest burglary count with just five accounts in the three months.
The statistics show 78 of the reports were from residential areas. Most of the reports were one time occurrences, however a few roads had multiple reports of burglaries over the three months.
These included Fawler Mead with four reports and Billingbear Lane, Lyndhurst Close, Chershire Park and Simkins Close with two reports each.
In Bracknell Town Centre no residential areas were targeted.
Instead, areas such as car parks, shopping areas and hospitals all had reports of burglaries.
Of these 86 burglaries, just one is awaiting a court trial.

62 cases are still under investigation. 21 of the investigations have been completed by police with no suspects found.
The remainder of the reports are unable to prosecute the offender.
According to 2017 Home Office statistics, nine out of ten burglaries remain unsolved.
