A SURGERY that closed suddenly on Monday amid coronavirus fears has been reopened, according to Healthwatch Bracknell Forest.
Boundary House Surgery, part of the Forest Health Group, underwent a 'precautionary deep clean' yesterday morning (February 12) and has now been opened.
It comes after a patient at the surgery admitted he was returning from travels in Thailand.
The GP surgery has thanked its patients for its support while it was closed for 'precautionary cleaning' to be carried out.
Dr Jeremy Mellins, partner at Boundary House GP Surgery, said: “We are pleased to announce that the practice has been cleaned and is now open.
"Patients with booked appointments for [this afternoon|]will be seen as normal. We would like to remind all patients that they can continue to contact the surgery using online services and by calling the surgery. We would like to thank our patients for their support and are looking forward to returning to a complete and normal service.”
The closure caused Bracknell residents to fear the worst with worries surrounding coronavirus spreading among locals on social media.
