A CARE home has been charged with corporate manslaughter after a 93-year-old died in their care.
Aster Healthcare Ltd, Moseley Road, Surrey, which owns care homes across the UK, has been charged by Thames Valley Police following the death of the elderly woman in Bracknell in 2014.

The care home was charged with one count of corperate manslaughter and one count of failure to discharge duty.
Alongside this, three workers have also been charged with offences in relation to the investigation.
Sheth Jeebun, 58, of Rodona Road from Weybridge, was charged with one count of failure to discharge a duty and one count of embarking on a course of conduct tending and intended to pervert the course of public justice, contrary to common law.
Elizabeth West, 45, of Middle Field, Pembury and Noel Maida, 48, of Fairey Avenue, Hayes have both been charged with one count of failure to discharge a duty.

The charges were made following a joint investigation between Thames Valley Police and the Health and Safety Executive into the death of a woman in Bracknell.
They were all charged on Friday, January 31 and will appear at the Old Bailey on Tuesday, March 31.
