A SUNNINGHILL restaurant could be forced to close earlier as licensing chiefs aim to put a stop to dozens of noise and disturbance complaints.

This is according to licensing bosses at the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead (RBWM), who recorded a number of incidents reported by residents and inspectors over the last twelve months after an intervention in January 2019.

“A major fight” was noted by a resident in April 2019, after they recorded “arguments and obscene language outside the restaurant in the car park.

Outdoor entertainment and singing would be banned seven days a week and no live or recorded music would be allowed after 11 pm seven nights a week.

After the licensing review was announced, Pazzia managers asked residents to come forward and give their views if they agreed the complaints were "justifiable".

RBWM councillors are set to decide whether the restaurant should shut earlier at a meeting on Monday, March 9.
