A NEW water main has been installed in Bracknell after it burst "several times" in the last 18 months.
South East Water has replaced more than 300 metres of pipe in Ringmead after the old pipes came to the end of its life.

Homes in Bracknell will now be provided with better water supply in the area following more than a year of disruption to residents.
Philip Cereda, regional works delivery manager for South East Water, said: “The old pipe has burst several times in the last 18 months so we wanted to get it replaced as quickly as possible.
“I am sorry for any disruption the project may have caused but this vital work will help us protect tap water supplies for years to come.”

The new main was lad between the junction of Octavia and a point just beyond the junction of Quintilis.
South East Water is constantly maintaining and upgrading its vast network of underground pipes, which spans more than 9,000 km.
