A SHOPPER has had £1,000 stolen from his bank account after being scammed by a fake car park attendant.
Bracknell Forest Council warned people to be aware after the scam was carried out on Thursday 'behind the banks in Bracknell.

The authority said the Public Protection Partnership was contacted by a resident who had been scammed by a male wearing clothes with 'link car park attendant' on.
The scammer reportedly told the customer that there was a problem with the pay machine and offered elp.
Subsequently, the 'pay for parking' machine swallowed his card and he later realised £1,000 had bee taken from his bank account.

Contractor Saba have been made aware and the firm has advised their staff to be vigilant.
BFC said the police have been contacted and described the male scammer as wearing a black scarf partly covering his face and dark clothing. He is also described as of Asian origin.
It also said the scam has also happened in Windsor in recent months.
