This evening the school has posted to its website to say the pupil tested negative for the virus.
It said: "The child who was showing symptoms of coronavirus has had a NEGATIVE result and has been released from hospital, therefore, school is open as usual tomorrow – Monday 16th March."
As part of the original letter to parents on Friday, the school stated: "
As headteacher, I am very conscious that children and indeed anyone can become very worried about COVID- 19. We will do all we can in school to reassure the children and maintain a calm learning environment.
