LOCAL pubs and independent restaurants have now been granted permission to operate as takeaways as part of government's response to the coronavirus.
Bracknell News is supporting local businesses during this unstable time, and have provided a list below of local places that need the support of the community.

The pub and restaurants offering takeaway services are:
- Wild Flour - this bakery is providing people with fresh bread, rolls, cakes, pies and pastries delivered daily in Bracknell and Ascot. To order, call: 07715737098
- The Bull, Wargave - the pub is asking regular customers to help with a collection service to the elderly and vulnerable. Jayne who owns the pub said: "We will be offering 3 or 4 of our favourite dishes, cooked to order, which can then either be collected or delivered by a friendly fellow customer to those in self-isolation.” Contact The Bull to get involved
- Jacksons California Lake, Wokingham - this cafe is offering a takeaway and delivery service on all of their normal breakfasts, lunch and roasts. This is available Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Call 01189730776 for more information
- Not Just Baps, Sandhurst - Lisa Hope will be delivering hot meals including beef stew and dumplings to anyone who is self-isolating. You can pay by bank transfer and they will leave food on your doorstep to avoid face-to-face contact. Call: 07511 801374
- The Crooked Billet, Wokingham - The pub said: "As a local family-run pub, we are hearing stories from many customers struggling to buy meats and meals at our local supermarkets. We are trying to relieve the pressure on our local community by offering a new takeaway service along with fresh meat bundles which can be purchased without the stress of the supermarkets. www.crookedbilletwokingham.co.uk
