HUNDREDS of drivers sat in queues to get one last order in before McDonald's closed down due to the coronavirus.
McDonald's drive thru in Wildridings Road, Bracknell was jam packed yesterday afternoon as drivers queued for an hour to get their final Big Mac's before the UK lockdown.

Phil from Bracknell said: "I queued for about an hour. Thought it was a bit more socially responsible than wandering around Sainsburys.
"I would’ve been quite happy with a sandwich but the kids wanted one last [McDonald's] treat so stuck it out. Couldn’t get the Big Mac and milkshake I wanted though."
The fast food giant announced on Sunday, March 22, that it would be closing more than 1,000 of its franchises across the country in line with the government's advice to shut down restaurants, cafés, pubs and other public places.
The closure came into effect at 7pm yesterday.

As pictured above, at least 50 cars are seen lining up at the Bracknell McDonald's drive thru, with traffic backing up along Wildridings Road, Ringmead and Mill Lane.
In Reading, queues were also backed up along the Oxford Road last night as people rushed for the last half hour of trading at McDonald's.
