A DESPERATE mother is trying to raise funds for her daughter's 'life changing' spinal surgery after all fundraising events were cancelled due to the coronavirus lockdown.
Kate Moores from Bracknell explained how her daughter Amber may not be able to travel to Germany to get her surgery due to travel being limited.

The Ranelagh School student was diagnosed with scoliosis which means her spine twists and curves to the side.
At the end of April, the 13-year-old is set to travel to Germany to have life changing Vertebral Body Tethering (VBT) surgery which will increase her mobility and give her a "better quality of life".
That's if the family are able to raise £45,000.
But the family says this will probably be delayed as fundraising events are cancelled due to the Covid-19 lockdown, as announced by Prime Minister Boris Johnson last night.
Kate added: "We are extremely worried for our daughter as time is against us with VBT surgery, the more growth she has left the better the correction.
"With the coronavirus we have had to cancel fundraising events as no social gathering and we are not even sure that Amber will be able to get to have her operation in Germany as travel is limited."
Amber's spine condition was first noticed when her parents applied sun cream on her on holiday.

"As soon as we returned back from holiday we went straight the the GP. After seeing x-rays and specialist consultants, Amber was diagnosed with adolescent idiopathic scoliosis, with a 55 degree curve to her thoracic and 65 degree to her lumbar, Kate said.
"We want the very best for Amber, as any parent does for their child, to give her the best possible outcome and quality of life.
"Raising the money for her surgery would mean so much as it will enable her spine to remain flexible throughout her life."
Amber's mum is now trying to up efforts on their online fundraising page as they cannot collect money at social gatherings due to the lockdown.
