QUEUING to get into your local supermarket or pharmacy is all too common as we get used to the lockdown restrictions.
The coronavirus pandemic has forced the UK government to enforce strict measures to keep people safe and the NHS by imposing a lockdown.

With this comes social distancing, with pharmacies and shops restricting the amount of people inside a shop.
We asked readers if they think pharmacies are busier than they should be.
It comes after pharmacists called for people to stop stockpiling on medicines and prescriptions.

However, residents are saying there are still too many trying to enter pharmacies when they don't need to be.

Despite not many people voting, 67 per cent out of 43 people said they are having to queue to get in to their pharmacy.
Half of people who voted said their pharmacy has been "brilliant" without them having to wait to get in.

Berkshire's local pharmaceutical committee (LPC) is asking patients and members of the public to avoid entering your local pharmacy if you are showing symptoms of Covid-19 and to 'be patient'.
David Dean, chief officer of the local LPC, said: “Community pharmacy teams are a really important part of the NHS, and like all other NHS workers they are under immense pressure at the moment.
"We are today asking patients and members to the public to take some very simple steps to help protect these teams so that pharmacies can continue to carry out their critical roles and ensure that everyone continues to get the medicines, help and support they need, when they need it.”
