A social media post from the Bracknell Forest Council showed the rubbish left on pavements and on footpaths and reminded residents they can be fined if caught fly-tipping.
The images did not come as a surprise to some residents, however, as many blamed the increase in fly-tipping on the closure of nearby recycling centres.

Another suggested installing precautionary measures at the recycling centres to reduce fly-tipping incidents.
They wrote: “[I] don't agree with fly-tipping at any time, but I don't see why they have had to close the tip.
“Restrict the number of people allowed in and enforce only 1 per bay and it would be fine.”
Others supported the decision to close the waste centres.
Another resident wrote: “People use any excuse.
