SOME big planning decisions were made earlier this week, including proposals for an Islamic Community Centre in Bracknell and new homes across Bracknell Forest.
There could be more to come in the next few months after dozens of interesting new applications were made to the council in the past week.

In this latest planning round-up we look at plans for 120 homes, new cafes and more.
Full details for each plan can be found entering the planning reference at planapp.bracknell-forest.gov.uk/online-applications.
120 homes in Warfield (planning reference 20/00265/REM)
Planning permission has already been granted for up to 750 homes on land north of Harvest Ride and south of Forest Road.
This application is for phases eight and nine of the overarching initial proposal, which was given the green light in 2013.

The space allocated for these homes in 4.7 hectares large and 42 of the new homes would go up in phase eight, with the remaining 78 in phase nine.
They would be a mix of sizes ranging from two to five bedrooms and up to three storeys in height.
A new cafe in Winkfield (20/00249/FUL)
Bosses at Tally Ho Farm Shop on Crouch Lane want to add a cafe to their site.
This would involve erecting a single storey building to house the coffee shop.
The location is within the green belt but applicants say the plans should be allowed to benefit the environment.
A planning statement read: “The café is a much-needed facility within this rural setting to reduce pollution by enabling local rural workers to eat locally rather than driving 5 miles to buy a sandwich and hot drink.”

Applicants believe the shop would create three jobs.
Another cafe -- this time in Bracknell (20/00247/FUL)
Arlington Square off Downshire Way could be home to another new cafe.
An application for a coffee shop on the business park’s grounds was submitted recently.
But this separate plan is for a cafe to be set up on the ground floor of one of the office blocks at the site at number five Arlington Square.
A new takeaway in Bracknell (20/00247/FUL)
A workshop in Wildridings Square could be turned into ‘A5 use’ -- which means for use of hot food takeaways.
Few details exist about what will be be added here but the current use is described as a workshop for a biscuit and cake making business.
The takeaway would create three jobs, according to planning documents.
Tree-chopping in Warfield (20/00067/TRTPO)
Warfield House could see six trees chopped down if applicants get permission from BFC.
Four other trees would be pruned as part of this proposal.
Like all other applications listed above, this plan is pending approval.
