HOMES in Reading and Crowthorne are currently without power after a number of outages have affected the area (April 28).

Homes in central Reading between the RG1 area to streets in RG4 (Caversham) have reported power cuts throughout the day.
Streets in Crowthorne have also seen power cuts.
Scottish and Southern Electric reported that roughly 21 homes in the area had been affected, with estimated times for power returning varying.

Power was lost in the RG45 area of Reading at around 1pm, and is expected to return at 4pm.
In central Reading, power is expected to return at approximately 3.30pm, while the RG4 region (Caversham) will be expected to wait until 5pm this afternoon.
Three properties in Crowthorne are expected to be out of power until 4pm.
