A KIND-hearted woman has helped lift people's spirits during the coronavirus lockdown through a simple concept of 'gifting and receiving'.
Abby Ellouise Dearing from Bracknell set up an Amazon wishlist Facebook Group 'From Me To You From Amazon' in the borough two days ago and it has "gone mental" with almost 2,000 members already.

Amazon wishlist is a service where people post which items they want of up to £20 and then anyone can purchase that and gift it to them.
The idea behind Abby's Facebook group is to ensure everyone receives a gift, so if you receive a gift you should send one back to the person to keep the kindness afloat.

The 22-year-old said: "Everyone is feeling quite down at the moment but with this they get a random gift coming through their door. "One person in particular won on a game and she 'burst out crying' as she was so happy. We have had one person who had to leave the group because they didn't send a gift back but that's it.
"People expecting a baby can post that they need dummies, it could be literally anything and most members spend about £5.

The page has been very successful so far, thanks to the 'amazing' team of helpers Eveie Brookman, Sian Coffey, Kayleigh Powell and Michaela McArthur.
Elderly residents at The Mount care home in Wargrave have also shared their wish list with care assistant Rosie Devlin, who is a member of the facebook group.

Abby said: "One of the girls who works in the care home asked residents to put their requests in too. It's sad as they aren't allowed any visitors or family members at the moment. There are also other care homes that have got involved."
Abby can also post her wishlist on Amazon too and she said: "I would love a hot tub! But the idea is just to show people appreciation and to spread kindness."
