FOR some people the coronavirus lockdown means sitting in doors waiting for the whole thing to blow over.
However, one neighbourhood in Binfield has changed for the better by using the time to make new friends and have some fun.

Every Saturday since the lockdown kicked in, Knox Green residents have been standing outside their homes for a social distancing boogie.
After meeting one another (from a two metre distance) and chatting on their group Whatsapp, they have arranged events like a group yoga session and are even decorating their street for VE day this Friday.
Proud resident Liz Hall says she is so happy "some good" has come out of this pandemic.

She said: "I just love the community spirit that we have got here in Knox Green. We have all met neighbours that we didn’t previously know, and everyone is being so kind, generous and helpful.
"I am glad that there is some good to come out of this awful pandemic. My hope is that our new, caring community will continue to be a wonderful place to live long after lockdown is over."
Last Saturday, May 3, more than 40 neighbours took part in a Oops Up Side Your Head dance, sitting three metres apart.

Liz Hall was sat at the front, she added: "The atmosphere was amazing, we had already danced to four songs, our usual Knox Green warm up of Come On Eileen to get the two Eileens out of their houses, and then the three chosen songs for this week’s Lockdown Boogie.
"Then we decided, as it was dry and sunny to have a bit more fun. There are rarely any cars in that part of the cul de sac and we made sure that we were all sitting three metres apart. Some people opted to stay standing and danced from the pavement.

"It was brilliant, everyone was so involved and we were all laughing about how unfit we are and how much our abs and legs and shoulders are going to ache tomorrow!"
