FROM driving 2,000 miles in one month to making hundreds of care bags in one day - here's how one woman is helping her community fight the coronavirus pandemic.
Georgie Tindall from Sunninghill wanted to stop "feeling sorry for herself" following the difficult decision to be apart from her four-year-old daughter Frankie during the Covid-19 lockdown.

After realising she'd rather be helping others than sit indoors all day, Georgie got in touch with local GP surgeries and care homes to find out what they needed in terms of personal protective equipment (PPE) and other essential items.
The 31-year-old has set up an online fundraising page with a target of £10,000 so she can purchase PPE and items to make up the care packages.

She said: "Myself and a few others will help make up the care home bags, which include things like Molten Brown body washes, candles, shampoo and face wipes and some chocolatey snacks. The bags are there to cheer people up with something nice you wouldn't usually buy yourself. It means so much to them and they are gratefully received because care home staff feel so forgotten.
"It's sad as care home staff are the ones helping our elderly and people most at risk and usually they are forgotten. I have even delivered to a care home where someone had died from covid."

The online fundraiser has reached £6,134 which has helped Georgie deliver care bags and purchase bakes goods to be delivered to hospital staff at Frimley Park Hospital.
Georgie has also received donations from as far afield as Farnborough and Aldershot as well as local communities in Ascot setting up food donation points outside their homes which she'll collect on a Friday.

She added: "I do all the deliveries and I am so surprised I haven't been stopped by the police. I must have covered at least 2,000 miles in one week. I have worked with a school who are making face shields and it's bizarre as there is a lot of red tape with GP's and where they can get PPE from.
"So I have worked out a loophole that if I order the PPE for them and go and deliver it to them, they can use it."
Georgie has praised the efforts of the community for helping her and she says she "couldn't do it without them".
