FAMILIES and neighbours gazed up into the sky on Friday to watch the spectacular spitfire flypast over Bracknell.
The 75th anniversary of VE day was celebrated on Friday, May 8 marking victory in Europe day.

A commemorative flypast took place about midday to salute Squadron Leader Stanley Booker MBE who lives in the town.
As well as getting the camera ready to film the historic flypast, residents set up their gardens and front lawns to hold social distancing street parties to celebrate the big day.
