WE don't mean to be the bearer of bad news but it's fair to say Bracknell was having a lot of fun this time last year.
It's obvious that all events have been cancelled or postponed because of the coronavirus outbreak.

Residents are safely sticking to the lockdown rules by staying inside and only travelling for essential reasons and to exercise but what were doing this time last year?

Well May was a pretty fun month for people in Bracknell, there were school circus festivals, beer festivals, celebrity football matches and runners gearing up for the Bracknell half marathon.
The News has looked back at all the fun events which happened last year - perhaps you can recreate some of them at home!

Crowds gather at Wildridings circus festival
Hundreds of families gathered over the bank holiday weekend to have fun and raise money for a very worthy cause.
Wildridings Primary school in Bracknell put on a circus festival for children, parents and friends of the school on Saturday, May 4.
The PTA (Parent Teacher Association) helped put on the event and the proceeds will help towards funding playground equipment for the school - click here to read more

Runners take part in spectacular Binfield 10k road race
THOUSANDS of eager residents laced up their running shoes to take part in the fourth annual Binfield 10k road race on Sunday, May 20 2019.
Runners took part in the 10k route, taking them through Binfield's roads and countrysides before making it back to Foxley Fields.
Funds raised from the 10k have supported Binfield Primary School and many other local charity groups, including brownies, cubs, scouts and guides and the local church.
Thousands flock to Bracknell Ale and Cider festival
Residents drunk the Bracknell Ale and Cider festival "dry" as the warm weather was a delight for more than 3,000 people who turned up to consume different beers and ciders.
The festival would have been in its 10th year, as people get to try dozens of locally crafted ales, ciders, gins and wines as well as deliciously smelling food stalls and live bands performing on the stages
Runners complete The Lexicon Bracknell Half Marathon
Thousands of excited residents put on their running shoes to take part in the annual Bracknell half marathon on Sunday, May 13.
Competitors ran the 13-mile course in the sunshine, starting at The Lexicon, making a loop around the town centre before crossing the finishing line.
Runner Neil Kevern completed the 13 mile stretch in just 1:10.22, seeing hundreds of participants hitting their personal bests or people taking part as a new challenge.
Hundreds gather to celebrate Indian Spring Festival
The Indian Community Association of Bracknell (ICAB) gathered on Sunday, May 12 to mark the beginning of the festivities.
About 60 adults and children participated in the Spring festival and showed off India's diverse culture by wearing brightly coloured clothes, dances and trying different foods.
Guests also listened to speeches, watched traditional Indian dances, songs and speeches being presented in nine Indian languages.
