A BRACKNELL resident has trawled through the archives to discover a nostalgic video showing what the town centre looked like before it got knocked down.
Graham Fowler filmed a tour of the town centre in 2010, with shops such as Peacocks and Bentalls featuring in it.

The busy Broadway was filmed with lots of shoppers walking past as well as the iconic escalators and Bandstand.
Many residents will have fond memories of the old town centre but may also be pleased to see a new and modern The Lexicon.

In 2020, Bracknell Forest Council approved plans for the new town centre to built.
