IT may be the very last time tonight for us to step outside our homes and clap as loud as we can for the NHS.
The founder of Clap for Carers Annemarie Plas told BBC Radio 2's Jeremy Vine show that it would be a 'beautiful' way to end it on its 10th week.
Originally, it began as a one-off to support NHS staff on 26 March - three days after the UK went into lockdown.
Since then, residents all over the UK have been clapping every Thursday at 8pm to honour the frontline staff in the NHS and key workers battling the coronavirus pandemic.

The News carried out a poll on its Facebook page asking readers whether they think Clap for Carers should end tonight.
Out of 483 votes, 79 per cent of Bracknell News readers said yes and 21 per cent said no.
Let us know if you will keep on clapping for carers or if you'll have your last applause tonight.
