ANOTHER two cases of coronavirus has been confirmed in Bracknell Forest.

Official figures show that two more cases of coronavirus have been recorded in Bracknell Forest.

Public Health England figures show that 255 people had been confirmed as testing positive for Covid-19 by 9am Thursday morning (May 28) in Bracknell Forest, up from 253 the same time on Wednesday. A week before, there were 240 cases.

It means cases have increased by 1 per cent over the last 24 hours, on a par with the rate of increase across the UK of 1 per cent.

They were among the 21,405 cases recorded across the South East, a figure which rose by 66 over the period.

Cumulative case counts include patients who are currently unwell, have recovered and those that have died.

Across the UK, 269,127 people had tested positive for coronavirus as of 9am on Thursday, up from 267,240 at the same point on Wednesday, Department of Health and Social Care figures show. As of 5pm on Wednesday, 37,837 people had died.
