YOUR furry friends could be in for a treat as new proposals for a dog grooming parlour in Bracknell are unveiled.
This is just one of five interesting planning applications sent to the council last week which caught our eye.

Dog grooming parlour coming to Bracknell? (Planning reference: 20/00315/FUL)
A pup-pplication for a dog grooming parlour has been submitted to Bracknell Forest Council (BFC).
Very few details exist about the paw-posal, but we do know the parlour would be converted from an existing garden store.

The pooch parlour would be based at Moordale Avenue.
Chapel conversion in Winkfield Row (20/00297/FUL)
The chapel at The Methodist Church in Winkfield Row could be used for storage if applicants get permission to convert the building.

Electrical Accordions Ltd want to use the site for storing grand pianos. The applicant has a piano business in Sunningdale.
The chapel is currently vacant, and according to planning documents, the church pews have been removed.
The 1854 building is not protected on Historic England lists but contributes to part of the local conservation area.
One resident has objected to the plan raising concerns about lorries parking and making noise.
New homes in Sandhurst (20/00329/PAV)
Three flats could go up on Yorktown Road in Sandhurst if this plan goes through.
The applicant is asking for prior approval to convert a former retail space into the new apartments.
Heating and boiler equipment supplier Daxom UK Ltd is said to be based at the site currently.
All three of the flats would be one-bedroom.
Farm buildings converted in Winkfield (20/00293/FUL)
‘Redundant farm buildings’ previously used for dairy and stabling purposes on land at Sunninghill Park in Winkfield are set to be changed for new uses.
The Crown Estate wants to convert the buildings into a small office space with a cycle store and for storing maintenance equipment.
This application is a renewal of an expired plan which gained permission from BFC in 2017, despite the site being in the green belt.
Solar panels on schools
Two applications submitted recently propose adding solar panels to the roofs of two schools in the borough.
The Brakenhale School could get solar panels with a capacity of 2200 kWp if their plan is given prior approval (20/00337/PAS).
Crown Wood Primary School is also asking for prior approval to install the renewable-energy producing devices (20/00365/PAS).
These plans, like all those listed above, are currently pending consideration.
