CROWTHORNE’S Lidl supermarket could soon be open for longer to help customers keep safe during the coronavirus pandemic.
Bosses at the store, based on High Street, want to extend its opening hours “to allow for social distancing”.

Lidl has asked Bracknell Forest Council (BFC) to allow the supermarket to stay open from 7am to 11pm Monday to Sunday.
Currently, the store’s permitted hours are 8am to 10pm Monday to Saturday.
Customers are allowed in the supermarket from 10am to 4pm on Sundays.

Neighbours have until Thursday, June 25 to send BFC any views on the application.
A decision on the proposal will come after residents have had a chance to submit any representations.
