A BEAUTY contestant from Bracknell has beat hundreds of competitors as a finalist for a national competition.

Charlie Kennedy-Rowles is proud to announce she has gained the title of Miss Teen Berkshire and has also won a place in the finals of Miss Teen Great Britain 2020.

After speaking to the Bracknell News back in November 2019, Charlie had secured a place in the semi-finals of the prestigious competition.

The Miss Teen Great Britain competition has thousands of 16-19 year-old girls enter to be in with a chance of winning £1,000, a modelling contract for a year and vouchers.

Contestants have to showcase their talents, raise money for charities and take part in challenges.

Charlie said: "I have really enjoyed being part of the competition so far! I’ve loved raising money for different charities."

Teenagers across Great Britain will attend the final ceremony on October 2020 at the Globe in Blackpool.

Finalists will get to enjoy a pyjama diva party, a Beauty Queen Challenge and more.

She added: "Making it to the grand final would be a dream come true – I will not only gain confidence and experience in fundraising for many different charities but also may have the chance (fingers crossed) to be able to represent my hometown and win the Miss Teen Great Britain crown!"
