A SWAN on the loose in Wokingham kept police busy last night as they tried to lead it away from a main road.
The mother swan was spotted wandering 'in and out of traffic' in Woodley on Tuesday, June 9.
Posting on Facebook, Thames Valley Police for Bracknell and Wokingham said it was “an interesting shift" for Team 2 as they helped a swan among numerous arrest, robbery, assaults and domestic violence.
They added: “The Swan had gotten separated from its young and was stuck wondering the streets of Woodley in and out of traffic.
"With a bit of help from some members of the public, we were able to get them all safely reunited back on the River Loddon ”
