A TEENAGE boy was rushed to hospital after being kicked and punched in the face.

At about 8.30pm on Thursday, June 11, a 17-year-old boy was walking along the iron bridge above Mill Lane towards Great Hollands when he was approached by a group of four teenage boys.

The group intimidated the victim, kicked him, pouring his drink over his head and threw his baseball cap over the side of the bridge.

Two of the teenagers then punched him in the face.

His bag of shopping and cash were stolen.

The victim went to hospital after suffering swelling to his face and experiencing blurred vision. He has since been discharged.

The first attacker is described as a white boy, around 14-years-old and around 5ft 5 ins tall. He had blue eyes and short brown hair which was longer on the top.

The second offender is described as a mixed race boy, between 15 and 17-years-old and around 5ft 6ins tall. He had brown eyes and short dark hair.

The third offender is described as a white boy, around 14-years-old, with short blonde hair.

The fourth offender is described as a white boy, between 15 and 17-years-old, with long blonde hair.

Investigating officer PC Kelly Turner, based at Loddon Valley police station, said: “I am appealing to anyone who witnessed this incident, or who has any information that could help with our investigation, to come forward.
