GP surgeries across the country have been rated by patients as part of the 2020 GP Patient Survey and we can now reveal which are the best and worst surgeries in Bracknell and the surrounding areas based on patient waiting times.
The survey, created by NHS England and Ipsos MORI, looks at patients’ overall experience of primary care services and their overall experience of accessing these services.
This includes how long after their appointment time patients waited to see or speak to a healthcare professional.

Boundary House Surgery in Mount Lane, Bracknell had the longest patient waiting times with 16 per cent of survey respondents waiting more than 30 minutes after their appointment time to see or speak to a healthcare professional.
Ringmead Medical Practice followed with 15 per cent of patients who responded to the survey waiting for more than 30 minutes after their appointment time.
Magnolia House Surgery in Ascot came third on the list with 10 per cent of of their survey respondents waiting for more than 30 minutes after their appointment time to see a health care professional.
Contrastingly, Easthampstead Surgery saw 41 per cent of patients who took the survey waited for five minutes or less after their appointment time to see or speak to a health care professional.

Boundary House Medical Centre in Skimped Hill Lane came second with 37 per cent of survey respondents waiting five minutes or less after their appointment time.
Thirdly, Great Hollands Practice saw 36 per cent of patients surveyed wait five minutes or less after their appointment time to speak to a health care professional.
Just seven per cent of patients surveyed had to wait 15 to 13 minutes after their appointment time.
The number of patients responding to the questionnaires varies between each GP surgery.
Across the country, the latest survey consisted of around 2.3 million postal questionnaires sent out to adults registered with GP practices in England from January 2020 to the end of March 2020.
About 740,000 patients completed and returned the form, meaning there was a national response rate of 31.7 per cent according to NHS England.
