A ROAD in Priestwood has been closed due to a police incident overnight.
Reports that a police helicopter was circling in the area above Stoney Road, Priestwood, at around 11pm last night have been made by locals, and the road has been cordoned off this morning (July 29).

Police have been contacted for more details.
Speaking to The News, one neighbour said she "heard loud noises that sounded like gun shots".
She added that there were "three bangs" at about 10.20pm, and minutes later police helicopters were out.
She said: "My husband said it was probably a car but then we heard more rumours.

"It is scary, I was up until 2am because I was concerned.
"Things like this don't usually happen around here."
Currently traffic in the area is backed up from the Wokingham Road - Stoney Road junction up to Arlignton Close, and the section between Priestwood Avenue and Windmill Road appears to be closed.
