DRIVERS have been caught speeding whilst a police operation was carried out yesterday.
Officers from the Wokingham neighbourhood team carried out a speeding operation in Wellington Road, at the junction with Barkham Road.

The police carried out the operation following a number of reports from residents about drivers speeding on the road.
As such, police posted on Facebook about the operation and said "a number of drivers were issued with fixed penalty notices and given strong words of advice."
Residents praised the work of the officers due to the road being dangerous.

One person said: "Fantastic. Good work. Stick a camera there and you’d make a bucket.It is so dangerous."
Another added: "Excellent too many drivers have been putting law abiding drivers at risk for too long."
