MANY residents will have woken up to blue skies and scorching hot temperatures but don't be fooled, as thunder is expected to arrive.
A yellow weather warning for thunderstorms in London and the South East has been issued from the Met Office today.

'Isolated' thunderstorms and rain is expected to hit some parts between 4pm and midnight later today (Friday, July 31).
The Met Office has said it will affect Bracknell and Slough this afternoon.
Travel disruptions are expected.
The Met office is warning residents that there will probably be some damage to a few buildings and structures from lightning strikes
- Some short term loss of power and other services is likely
- Delays to train services are possible
- Some flooding of a few homes and businesses is possible, leading to some damage to buildings or structures
- There is a small chance that driving conditions will be affected by spray, standing water and/or hail, leading to longer journey times by car and bus
