AN AWARENESS poster has been issued out by the Wokingham Borough Council following concerns of 'Test and Trace' scam callers.
The council posted the awareness poster yesterday, August 2, on Facebook, detailing information on what a real Test and Trace caller would never ask someone.

This list of things include a caller asking to dial a premium rate number, asking for any form of payment, asking for you to purchase a product of any kind, or asking for any of your bank account details.
The list also states an authentic caller would never ask for any logins, passwords or PINs, ask you to download anything, ask you to access a strange website, or to send someone to your home.
A spokesman for the Wokingham Borough Council said: "If you are contacted by the Test and Trace team make sure you aren’t the victim of fraud.

"Genuine contact tracers will never ask you for money or to share sensitive personal details upfront."
