TRAVELLERS who set up an encampment on private land in Earley this week have now left the area.
Reports on local Facebook groups said that on Thursday, August 6, an encampment was set up in Sindlesham Mill in Earley.
A 'large group' of travellers recently arrived in Longhill Park, Harvest Ride.

Locals reported seeing approximately 20 vehicles towing caravans and trailers to the park.
Pictures circulating on social media showed at least four caravans in the Earley car park this week, but Wokingham Borough Council has now confirmed that the group left shortly after.
Cllr John Kaiser, executive member for finance and housing, said: "The Travellers arrived at Sindlesham Mill on the afternoon of August 6 2020.
"The area of land that they were occupying is private land and we made contact with the land owner directly.

"The encampment left this area of its own accord the same evening."
