A HOT Friday turned into an eventful day for fire crews who attended a large house fire in Warfield.
Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service scrambled to reports of a fire in Rachaels Lake View in the afternoon.

Smoke billowed from an outbuilding and residents stepped out of their houses to watch the emergency services put out the fire.
The service said it took about three hours to put out the fire.
A spokesman said: "At 3.21pm on Friday, 7 August, we received reports of a fire in an outbuilding in Rachaels Lake View, Warfield.

"Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crews from Wokingham, Wokingham Road, Dee Road, Caversham Road, Slough and Whitley Wood were sent to the scene, alongside an aerial ladder platform from Buckinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service.
"Upon arrival, crews found a fire in two properties. Six firefighters in breathing apparatus worked to extinguish the fire using two hose reels, two jets and a turntable ladder.
"Crews were at the scene for approximately three hours. "
