AN EMOTIONAL send off was given to a group of pre-schoolers as they had their very own graduation ceremony.
The staff at Storybook Montessori Nursery and Preschool in Ascot wanted to give the youngsters an ending to remember on Wednesday, August 5.

Proud teachers waved goodbye to a cohort of 22 children wearing adorable mortarboard style graduation caps and scrolls.
The ceremony took advantage of the sunshine in the nursery's forest school area as staff observed social distancing and pupils enjoyed the fresh air.
Mary Brosnan, Founder of Storybook Montessori, said: "We’re so proud of how the children have progressed during their time here at Storybook and we wish them all the best as they start in big school this September.
"2020 has brought its fair share of challenges and it truly has been unprecedented times but we were so happy to reopen our doors on 1st June. The children have once again shown just how resilient they are by slipping back into nursery routine post lockdown like they were never away.

Storybook is Ascot’s first accredited Montessori nursery school and was founded in 2015 by Mary Brosnan.
The beginning of 2020 saw Storybook achieve another big milestone by securing a Montessori Accreditation.
Storybook is the only accredited Montessori in Ascot, an award which is reserved for only those schools and nurseries who meet the high Montessori standards.
