GOOGLE is using location data gathered from phones to help public health officials understand how people’s movements have changed in response to the global coronavirus pandemic.
The reports use data from people who have opted in to storing their location history with Google to help illustrate the degree to which people are adhering to government instructions.

The Covid-19 Community Mobility Report dated August 21 looks at data in Bracknell Forest between Sunday, July 5, and Sunday August 16, 2020.
The data shows there has been a small increase in the number of people visiting parks - a 11 per cent increase compared to the baseline.
There has been a massive decrease in the number of people working in offices - a 54 per cent decrease compared to the baseline.

A decrease of 47 per cent means less people have been using trains and buses.
There has been a rise in visits to residential properties (13 per cent increase compared to the baseline).
Trips to supermarkets and pharmacies has decreased by 17 per cent compared to the baseline.
People visiting shops in the town centre has also decreased by 28 per cent compared to the baseline.
