Despite the Lexicon Next remaining open, residents feel concerned over the staff losing their jobs.
A spokesman for Next gave an update after we published a story regarding the closure being a 'real blow to the town's economy'.
They said they will aim to "relocate" staff to stores close by.
They said: "We can confirm the Bracknell Peel Street store is closing in line with the lease ending and our last trading day will be Sunday 13th September 2020. We will remain trading locally in Bracknell Town Centre.

"We have consulted with the staff in-store and hope where possible we will be able to relocate them to a store close by. "
A former colleague of the store said the closure is a "real blow to the town's economy" as "it's a "real shame to see jobs being lost in the current climate."
He said: "I have several friends that do still, and it is a real shame to see jobs being lost in the current climate, and a bit strange as the store was quite profitable.
"I’m unsure of the in’s and out’s of it but overall it’s a real blow to the towns economy and the retail park as well as everyone who worked there who will be out of a job at a time where jobs are few and far between."
