The budget friendly store is one of the last few shops still standing in Princess Square.
Bosses confirmed it will shut down on Thursday, September 17.
Rob Francis spotted the 'closing down' posters as he walked through the town.
The Bracknell resident said: "Will the last shop to leave Princess Square please turn off the lights? Hope the staff are taken care of."
Many customers reacted to the news claiming nothing will be left in the town once Poundland closes.
Kim Anita Westcott commented on private We Love Bracknell Facebook page: "Why is it closing there well be nothing left in there soon." Janet Day added: "That's a shame both for the staff and customers."
