Bracknell is truly a wonderful place resident's can be proud of but what sets it apart is a marriage between a pineapple and squash.
Yes you heard that right.
There was a time when conversation topics didn't focus around coronavirus in Bracknell.
Fruit was the talk of the town and pre-pandemic, people across the borough where sharing daily updates on how the fruit wedding was coming along.
If you don't know what this is about, let us explain.
This time last year on September 23, random fruit started appearing on the Bagshot Road Roundabout near Bracknell Leisure Centre and drivers found it rather amusing.
Nobody knows who started placing the fruit there but resident's took a liking to the display with children adding more fruit, creating a marriage between a squash and pineapple.

Someone even created the fruit couple its very own facebook account called 'myfruitsaladwedding', posting daily updates of the fruit and vegetable's wedding story.
Fast forward a year later and the fruit has vanished from the roundabout. Either someone has sadly destroyed the display or it simply turned mouldy.
Nevertheless, residents in Bracknell have started to question where the fruit couple have gone.
Some even think it would be nice to start enjoying the hilarious display during such an uncertain and anxious time that is covid-19.
One woman called Samira Butt posted on We Love Bracknell earlier this week saying: "Who ever you were, where ever you may be, please, bring this back in to my life!"
As you can see in the post, dozens of residents have shared their affection towards the fruit display.
Michael Halsall added: "Definitely really brought Bracknell together. Looked forward to daily updates and the drive past." Jean Crees said: "Liked to Look at them when sat waiting for the traffic lights to change"
Tony Hutchings added: "So let’s bring them back."
