Racist attacks are growing year on year in Bracknell, police data reveals.
Thames Valley Police has released its crime summary from September 2019 to August 2020.

The data shows the number of crimes recorded in Bracknell and Wokingham in the past four years.
From the figures, there is a clear trend in the number of racist incidents reported to police in Bracknell.
In 2017/2018, 155 such incidents were reported to the force, while in 2018/2019 the figure rose to 218.
Recorded incidents for the most recent year, which spans from September 2019 - August 2020, increased once again to 238.
The data suggests that racist crimes rose 9.2 per cent in the 12 month period.
Ableist (anti-disability) crime rose by 8 per cent, from 34 to 37 in the past year.

There were no religious crimes reported in 2019 according to the police data.
Thames Valley Police has been asked to provide a comment.
