A school will be closed to Year 8 and 9 students today after a staff member tested positive for coronavirus.
The headteacher made an announced with a letter sent to parents and carers on Thursday, October 8.

The letter states the school had been made aware of the positive case last night.
A number of teachers who may have been in contact with the staff member also have to self-isolate 'as a precaution'.

It said: "As a result I will not be able to open the school to all year groups tomorrow, therefore I have taken the very difficult decision to instruct 8 and 9 to work from home tomorrow, Friday 9th October.
"Across the day tomorrow I will evaluate the situation an try to put together a plan fo the next two weeks, which will enable some of the students to return."
