A Liberal Democrat councillor who sits on Wokingham Borough Council has denied flouting social distancing rules.
A formal complaint was lodged against Cllr Imogen Shepherd-DuBey in June and the investigation is ongoing.
She admitted that she is one of the councillors who is being investigated at a meeting of the council’s Standards Committee on October 12, but denied breaking the rules.
She said: “I’ll fess up, I was one of the councillors being complained about.

“But I’ve sent Andrew Moulton the actual video footage (of the incident).
“We were very much social distancing and very much aware of it.
“I’ve sent you the video and I think it’s just a matter of process.”
Two other councillors have been accused of breaking social distancing rules and those complaints are still being investigated.
At the meeting, Cllr John Kaiser said complaints about social distancing should “be fairly easily to resolve” but admitted that in photographs “it’s always difficult to gauge whether they are social distancing or not”.
Andrew Moulton, the monitoring officer who deals with complaints, said: “It’s just been a procedural thing. I’ve not managed to have the consultation meeting yet.

“I tend to agree with you – that should be straight forward.”
He added: “Unless there’s any real explicit evidence of not following guidance or the law, then those complaints are unlikely to go any further.”
The meeting heard there were eight outstanding complaints about councillors dating back to March 4.
Cllr Kaiser said: “We do have a lot of outstanding stuff and hopefully at the next meeting we’ll be able to put some of that to bed.”
Mr Moulton said: “Absolutely, I hope next time we meet there will be a shorter list there and hopefully not this list of complaints that goes back some time.”
