Aldi will be open from 8am to 10pm from Monday to Saturday, and from 10am to 4pm on Sundays.
Waitrose closed last year which lead to plans being submitted to bring Aldi to the town earlier this year.
Aldi was given the go-ahead to set up at the site following permission from the council in July.
