A report published by Bracknell Forest Borough Council (BFBC) indicated contributions from a special pot of money put aside for improving recreational facilities will be used to fund enhancements at the site.
The planned upgrades include:
- New safety barriers around ‘pitch one’
- New security and access gates between the clubhouse and the changing rooms
- New hard standing path to be provided outside the fence line along bottom end of ‘pitch one’
Binfield FC has also put in a bid for £80,000 community infrastructure funding via Binfield Parish Council to deliver wider improvements to the community facilities.
