GOOGLE is using location data gathered from phones to help public health officials understand how people’s movements have changed in response to the global coronavirus pandemic.
The reports use data from people who have opted in to storing their location history with Google to help illustrate the degree to which people are adhering to government instructions.

The Covid-19 Community Mobility Report dated October 23 looks at data in Bracknell Forest between Monday, October 19 , and Sunday Friday, October 23.
The data shows there has been an increase in the number of people visiting parks - a 15 per cent increase compared to the baseline.
Similarly, more people have been sitting in their homes - a 15 per cent increase compared to the baseline.

There has been a massive decrease in the number of people working in offices - a 38 per cent decrease compared to the baseline.
Less people have been using trains and buses as the data shows public transport use has gone down by 49 per cent in Bracknell Forest.
Trips to supermarkets and pharmacies has decreased by 5 per cent compared to the baseline.
Finally, less people were out shopping in the town (a 24 per cent decrease compared to the baseline).
