BRACKNELL Forest has many beautiful buildings that have been around for decades.
This is in some part due to the safeguards given to them by special planning rules.
The National Heritage List for England is a register of all nationally protected historic buildings, monuments, parks and more.

If a building has been listed by Historic England (HE), this means it has a special architectural or historical interest.
According to HE’s website, “the older a building is, and the fewer the surviving examples of its kind, the more likely it is to be listed.”
