New takeaway in Bracknell (planning reference: 20/00196/FUL)
As the News reported in June, proposals for a new takeaway at Wildridings Square were submitted to the council without revealing exactly what sort of eatery would move in at the site.
From documents submitted to planning chiefs, it was not clear if the new diner would be an Indian, Chinese, a Pizza place, a chippie or something else entirely.
The proposal looked in doubt back in the summer after an environmental health officer raised concerns about noise and disturbance from the site.
But applicants submitted a new noise assessment report in July.

It appears this submission, along with new parking details, persuaded council chiefs to approve the plans as permission has now been granted.
Fortunately, new details also revealed the takeaway would sell Indian Nepalese cuisine.
Two letters of objection were submitted to the council, with one complaining another takeaway of this variety would harm other businesses.
The proposed operating hours are 0700 to 23.59 Monday to Sunday.
